Will You Give Where You Live Today?
In the next 24 hours DC School Reform Now (DCSRN) will look to raise $5,000 to fund Virtual School Tours. The giving has already begun and we hope we can count on your support. Why join our efforts?
Washington, DC is a major school choice city, meaning many parents choose to apply to schools other than their neighborhood school. However, with so many options parents frequently want support determining which schools are the highest quality and are a good fit for their child.
To ease this process for parents, this year DCSRN launched Virtual School Tours, which provide parents with greater access to make important comparisons about school quality. DCSRN's Virtual School Tours are the first of their kind to authentically show each aspect of a school day and currently include many Tier 1 public middle schools in Washington, DC. More schools are already excited to participate and next year we plan to expand our portfolios to include elementary schools.
Donate now--as little as $12 are encouraged--and then join us this afternoon for a celebratory happy hour from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at The Front Page (across from the Dupont South metro). Attendees will have the opportunity to grab some swag, learn more about Virtual School Tours and Do More 24 for DCSRN!
Thanks for all you do and see you this afternoon!
