[YEP-DC] Panel Event: "Educational Equity: In States We Trust?"

Join Education Sector's K20 Task Force—Senior Fellows Peter Cookson, Thomas Dawson, Joni Finney, Sara Mead, Jeff Selingo, and Ben Wildavsky—and Interim CEO John Chubb, co-author of The New State Achievement Gap, for a discussion on the state of educational equity today, including:

How states are (and aren't) reducing achievement gaps.
State funding (or underfunding) of higher education and how it has affected educational outcomes for students.
What recent federal forays into accreditation and state authorization mean for the future of higher education
Where does pre-K funding fits into the equity picture.

Carol Knopes, veteran journalist and Education Sector editor, will serve as moderator.
