....was mentioned last night at the Ralph Rinzler Concert. This preceded the Seldom Scene appearance at the Smithsonian Institute Festival of American Folklife. I think he had something to do with the early days (late 60s?) of the festival. George - care to fill in the details? Thanks.
BTW - the SS did a great set. Lots of the festival participants were taking photos and videos. They all seemed to be enjoying the music. One funny moment involved the closed captioning system. It showed the "manned line" was being played by "Blew Reed." ;-]
