Teach Plus DC is excited to invite you to attend a professional development conference led by teachers, for teachers, to prepare all Washington, DC teachers to effectively implement Common Core State Standards (CCSS).

Teachers, don't miss this opportunity to let your voices be heard during our plenary session that explores the instructional shifts needed to teach the CCSS and the preparation teachers need to make those shifts in their classrooms. Share your thoughts and help generate ideas and recommendations for CCSS- aligned teacher training and preparation.

Learn new strategies for teaching CCSS in your classroom in breakout sessions on topics like PARCC Overview, PARCC and Accommodations for ELL and Special Education Students, Changes with CC in the Secondary Math Classroom, Close Reading & Common Core, and many others geared toward different grade levels.

Conference attendees will be eligible to earn 5 Professional Learning Units.
