Atlas Corps connects leading social change organizations with experienced nonprofit professionals for a yearlong capacity building Fellowship. They are excited to welcome their 13th class of Fellows in September, and would love to place some of these talented global leaders with US-based nonprofits, social business and government agencies.
The World's Best Nonprofit Professionals: Atlas Corps Fellows are leaders in their home country with 2-10 years of professional experiences in a variety of skill and issue areas. They speak fluent English, hold a bachelor's degree (65% hold post-grad degrees), and commit to serving full-time in a US nonprofit for 12 to 18-months. 2000 candidates from 150+ countries apply each year for 50 placements (a 2.5% selection rate).
Leading Social Change Organizations: Host Organizations like the National Audubon Society, Ashoka, the Grameen Foundation, CARE, the UN Foundation, Peace Corps, McKinsey and many others have engaged Atlas Corps Fellows as a key component of their talent management strategy to access technical, linguistic and regional expertise that advance their mission. Atlas Corps coordinates all Fellowship logistics including visas, travel, insurance, stipend disbursement and professional development. Host Organizations interview and select a Fellows; provide a meaningful opportunity for the Fellow to advance their mission, and typically contribute a $30,000 cost share to cover a portion of program expenses.
Special Offer: Because of the support of the US State Department and other private funders, Atlas Corps is able to offer a limited number of partially-funded opportunities to host Fellows from Sudan ($18,000), South Sudan ($5000 6 months), Pakistan ($20,000), Jamaica ($27,000) and Nigeria ($27,000).
The current pool of finalists is among the largest and most diverse in terms of professional skills, issue expertise and geographic representation and includes a humanitarian relief practitioner from Pakistan, a monitoring and evaluation expert from Egypt, finance professional from Cameroon, a human rights attorney from Ecuador, and many other rising nonprofit leaders from around the world.
Contact Senior Director Kelly Reid Kelly@atlascorps.org or 202.263.4574 TODAY to learn more about adding one of these experienced leaders to your team in September.
