[YEP-DC] Happy Hour for a Cause Thursday, 5/16 5:30p-8:30p!

Trying to figure out what you're doing this Thursday night? Be a changemaker!

Come out to our Happy Hour for a Cause: Dance, Dig & Dine D.C. Summer Program Fundraiser Thursday, 5/16/2013 from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at The Ugly Mug bar at 723 8th St SE, Washington, D.C. 20003 (about 3 short blocks from Eastern Market metro station) with Happy Hour Specials before 7 p.m.

Why not take advantage of food and drink mostly under $10 before 7 p.m. while supporting a great cause? All we're asking for is a $10 Happy Hour donation on our Eventbrite that you can make in advance (at www.cchealthykids.eventbrite.com) or at the event--all in exchange for music, laughter and networking with some of D.C.'s finest!

If you'd like to donate more, purchase the $10 Happy Hour ticket and also add any amount of your choice at the "Superstar" donation category. If you can't make it but want to donate, you can donate any amount of your choice under the "Superstar" donation category.

Proceeds will go to a summer program focusing on physical fitness, eco-friendly gardening, healthy eating and financial literacy for youth from disadvantaged communities in Washington, D.C. We are  working to raise $2,000 by 5/31 for this summer program, and if just 90 people make a $10 donation, we'll almost completely have reached our goal.

Even if you can't make it, please consider donating any amount ($10, $20, $50 or anything your heart desires) towards the $2,000 it will take to ensure this programs happens!
