Description: Position Title: Coordinator of Data and Reporting
Immediate Supervisor: Head of School
Position Objective/Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Head of School, this position is responsible for managing all student related database programs. Work of this class is characterized by a high level of detail, multi-tasking and teamwork.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage the school student records management database including, but not limited to:
o Scheduling: Input all course information, student course requests, teaching and room assignments. Create conflict matrices and resolve where appropriate. Support Director of Academics, Curriculum Specialist, and Academy Leader in other scheduling related matters.
o Grade Reporting: Manage and review faculty grade input. Verify grade calculations and adherence to school grading policy. Print progress reports and transcripts.
o Records Management: Maintain printed and electronic records. Electronically archive records after graduation.
o Intake: Coordinate the application process for new students.
o Transferal/Withdrawal: Coordinate the transferal and withdrawal process by sending transcripts, report cards, etc. to other schools.
o End User Support: Serve as the primary liaison between the student records management database and the teachers, counselors and administrators. Coordinate staff training on the gradebook and students records management database.
o Reporting: Collaborate with the school leadership team and other teachers in developing management reports.
o Maintenance: Oversee the health, integrity and accuracy of the student records management database.
Support the data entry process performed by various school and contracted employees.

Requirements: Job Qualifications or Specifications:
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with careful attention to detail.
Associates degree or higher. Coursework in computer science, information systems or business is preferred.
Two years experience in the operation and development of database programs and report writers (Access, Blackbaud, Crystal Reports, etc.), preferably in a school setting.
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
Possess ability to work in collaborative manner with all school staff
Start Date: 6/3/2013
Salary: Commensurate with experience
