We are seeking dynamic individuals to work with high-achieving scholars in various roles at our educational conferences. All jobs are residential and require long hours, but every experience is certainly “more than a job.” Staff members continually return to work with us each season to inspire, educate and motivate a future generation of leaders. Each program provides a complete paid training prior to the start of the program.

Faculty Advisor
The Faculty Advisor is responsible for providing the best experience possible for all participants of the program through facilitation of all educational curricula for the program. The Faculty Advisor must be able to interact with and supervise students and to provide for their safety and well-being.

•Temporary Summer Operations Opportunities (Operators, Scholar Relations and Office Coordinators for Elementary, Middle School and High School Leadership Programs)
Scholar Relations
The Scholar Relations is available for any scholars that need individual attention for any reason (e.g. adjustment issues, homesickness, roommate issues, special needs, minor discipline issues, etc.). Scholar Relations Advisors also facilitate the process of check-out/visitation between scholars, parents, family members and friends. After evening security check, a Scholar Relations Advisor serves as the on-call staff member for scholars with personal and/or medical issues.
Operations Team
Operations Team members work behind the scenes to ensure that all events -- from opening day registration to site visits and speaking events run smoothly. They also address and meet the general needs of the program, such as overseeing transportation and responding to the needs of all participants.
Office Coordinator
The Office Coordinator reports to the Program Coordinator- Operations and assists in providing the best experience possible for all participants of the program. The Office Coordinator maintains the field office for each session and must be able to interact with young people and work well with staff, Program Coordinators, and parents.

•Summer Logistics and Support Opportunities with NYSP
The National Young Scholars Program (NYSP) is seeking individuals to be hired as temporary, residential staff members for a variety of program sessions this summer. Starting in June and continuing through July and August, NYSP is looking to fill numerous spots in the roles of, Logistics and Program Support team members.
**Please note that all positions are residential.**
PROGRAM SUPPORT TEAM POSITIONS
Program support team members are responsible for supporting faculty advisors as they implement the educational curricula and providing the best experience possible for all participants. Program support team members must be able to interact with and supervise young people and provide for their safety and well-being. This position is comparable to a teacher’s aide working both in and out of the classroom.
LOGISTICAL SUPPORT TEAM POSITION
Logistical support team members are responsible for the logistical implementation of the program as directed by the Program Coordinator of Logistics. Logistical support team members must be able to interact with and supervise young people, be capable of handling stressful situations and be able to use and be responsible for communications equipment. Logistical support team members should enjoy working with elementary aged children, coaching them through these unique experiences. This position requires physical activity, including heavy lifting and walking/being on one's feet for long periods of time. Logistical support team members must be at least 21 years of age.
