[YEP-DC] Women in Community Colleges event

Tuesday, May 21, Women in Community Colleges: Access to Success

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) invites you to the launch of their latest research report, Women in Community Colleges: Access to Success. Join us for a discussion on the role of community colleges in women's higher education, the challenges facing women, and how some community colleges and states are taking on these challenges to promote women's success. The report looks specifically at the experience of student mothers and women in nontraditional fields, including science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) at community colleges.

Panelists:
Dr. Beverly Walker-Griffea, Vice President for Resource and Development, American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) and  Senior Vice President for Student Services at Montgomery College. 
 

Donna Milgram, Executive Director at Institute for Women in Trades, Technology & Science National Institute for Women in Trades, Technology & Sciences (IWITTS)

Tiffany Reardon, Assistant Director of Math, Engineering, Science, Achievement Community College Program
