Re: [BloomingdaleActionList] Fwd: Canopy Keepers: delayed watering bag installation

I have about half a dozen of the brown ooze tubes (no stakes) and one green zippered treegator bag if someone needs one.

Good afternoon,

As I'm sure you have noticed, there has been a significant delay in processing the Treegator bags delivery for this year's watering efforts. While it is out of our control, DDOT's Urban Forestry Administration is hopeful that this situation will be resolved within the next few weeks.

Given that the weather is starting to warm up, please water your adopted trees each week with whatever means is most convenient for you, making sure the water is saturating into the soil and not just running off.

Our contractor is currently watering all newly planted trees twice a month and will continue to do so as scheduled throughout the season to ensure survivability. Your weekly efforts are important for providing the consistent water that will help them establish and grow quickly.

As soon as we receive the watering bags, our contractor will install them on your trees. When winter approaches, the contractor will then remove and store the bags.

Thanks so much for your patience and efforts,
