[YEP-DC] Job Opening: Univ. of Maryland Coordinator of Data Integrity

The Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment (IRPA) at the University of Maryland is seeking a Data Integrity Coordinator to join its Reporting and Special Projects team. The office has a robust and complex data warehouse which can be accessed for analytic purposes through a variety of reporting and statistical tools. The responsibilities of this position include: integrating information from university information systems for various internal, external and mandated reports; understanding and utilizing various database querying tools to solve problems and generate reports; working with the Division of IT on implementing changes for internal, external and mandated reports; and conducting data integrity checks, including troubleshooting and coordinating issues with appropriate constituents.

Job Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree

·         1-3 years of experience in research or education setting or related field; Master's degree can substitute for 2 years of experience

·         Experience using technology for collection and dissemination of data

·         Ability to read SQL

·         Ability to use database querying tools

·         Ability to translate technical work to an analytic environment

·         Excellent problem solving skills

·         Knowledge of institutional research processes and experiences within higher education data preferred

·         US Citizenship or Permanent Residency

Salary: Starting at $48,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Excellent leave, medical coverage, retirement, and tuition-remission benefits. Position available immediately.
