Hi all,

 

You may have heard of this film, Girl Rising – it's a documentary that follows the lives of nine girls around the world and their struggle to get an education.  I have not seen the film, but want to – so I signed up to be the Captain of a Community Screening and the company that handles the screenings, Gathr Films, just confirmed Gallery Place as the viewing theater at 7:30pm Wednesday, July 17^th. 

Tickets are $10, but your credit card will not be charged unless at least 100 people register – the theater will not show it unless at 100 tickets are reserved.
