[YEP-DC] NAEYC Employment Opportunity - Manager, Affiliate and Member Relations

NAEYC, an early childhood educational association founded in 1926; leads the way toward excellence in high-quality early care and education is seeking a Manager for the Affiliate and Member Relations Department. This position supports a network of over 300 state and local components through technical assistance and consultation, working directly with volunteer leadership and paid staff in support of their mission to improve the quality of early childhood education within their communities.  The position also supports a national council and a diverse body of member-driven Interest Forums and their volunteer facilitators. Some travel is required. 

Candidates must have a BA degree with a minimum of 3 years work related experience with a background in component relations or association management, and/or successful work experience with volunteer, nonprofit boards. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven skills with data analysis and evaluation metrics, nonprofit business practices, MS Office, database management, Google Drive, time management, and sound judgment in prioritizing projects required. Enjoys the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment, and the ability to work effectively within a team setting. Excels in bringing solution-oriented strategies to all facets of departmental work. Salary $45-50K with excellent benefits.
