[YEP-DC] Want to have a teenager think you’re the coolest? Become a CPE Mentor!

Join us for our next mentor training this Saturday, November 10 from 11am-2pm!

Capital Partners for Education (CPE) works with motivated, low-income high school students as they strive to reach their goals of attending and succeeding in college. Most will be the first in their families to do so. By becoming a mentor, you have the opportunity to show our youth a window into worlds beyond their neighborhoods while having fun!

If you are a college graduate and work in the DC metro area, you already have all the right skills to succeed in this program. We know how busy you are and have designed a program that is flexible to work with your schedule. We provide the training and ongoing support you will need throughout your mentoring relationship, so all you need to do is be yourself!

Only 40% of low-income students will enter college. Only 8% will finish.

Sharing just 6 hours a month with a high school student can change this.

Since inception, 99% of Capital Partners for Education (CPE) graduates have gone on to college, and an amazing 70% have graduated.

We need your help—will you become a part of this success?
