We are looking for an Account Coordinator to join the education team and support some great education clients. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, is a quick-learner, self-starter, and team player with an interest in education.
Duties may include:
• Reviewing and editing documents and providing feedback
• Developing new publications or materials
• Planning and coordinating traditional and social media outreach programs
• Planning for and executing events targeted to stakeholder groups, including press events
• Researching and compiling information related to client projects
Qualifications:
· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
· A working knowledge of education institutions and organizations and their missions, as well as their key stakeholders
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to analyze and summarize complex data and information for public consumption
· Familiarity with best practice communications tactics and public relations tools (knowledge of Cision a plus)
· Project management skills, with the ability to multi-task
· Ability to perform well under tight deadlines to produce quality work
- Strong client-service orientation
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus!
