[YEP-DC] Refer students to FLOC! Partner breakfast in January.

Dear education colleagues,

For Love of Children (FLOC) is a local non-profit organization providing out-of-school time services to help low-income DC students succeed from first grade through college and career.  You're invited to attend a FLOC Partner Breakfast to learn about referring YOUR students to our FREE educational programs.

Thursday, January 10 – 9:00-10:00am – 1763 Columbia Road NW

For Love of Children continues to have space in many of our programs for new students this spring.  We're hosting this breakfast and information session to give new partners a chance to learn everything there is to know about:

• The Neighborhood Tutoring Program
• The Scholars Program
• What kinds of students are successful in our programs
• The referral process
• The enrollment process
• Anything else you've wanted to know, ask, or share with us.

You're also welcome and encouraged to invite others to attend the breakfast, either with you or in your place.  Are there colleagues at your school or organization who could also refer students?  Colleagues at other schools/organizations who should know more about what we do and how to connect their students?  Teachers, counselors, principals, youth workers, social workers, and more are all welcome.   Just be sure that all attendees RSVP at the link above.
