Did you know that less than 2% of women who have a baby by age 18 get a college degree by age 30? Generation Hope, a DC-area nonprofit organization, exists to change this statistic by working with teen parents to help them become college graduates.
-- On Friday, June 26th and Saturday, June 27th the organization is having it's biggest events of the year, and we are searching for individuals to help by providing childcare for the children of our students. We provide childcare at all of our events to ensure that a lack of childcare never prevents a student from taking advantage of our programming. We are looking for volunteers from 7pm-11pm on Friday, June 26th and from 9am-5:30pm on Saturday, June 27th (multiple shifts available). This is a really fun volunteer opportunity that allows you to make a big difference!
