THE ORGANIZATION: | Leading Educators partners with schools and districts to maximize the leadership development of highly effective teachers. Our goal is to identify, train, and support teacher leaders and, in turn, increase student achievement and develop the skills and sustainability of teachers on our teacher leaders' teams. Leading Educators offers formal training Sessions designed to be immediately applicable by teacher leaders. Expert faculty model new skills, facilitate targeted practice, and drive action planning for implementation. Leading Educators also provides customized teacher leadership development consulting for districts, charter management organizations, schools, state-level agencies, and non-profit organizations. Consulting is customized based on partner needs, context, and goals. |

THE POSITION: | The Operations Coordinator provides administrative, logistical, and management support to the senior leadership team at Leading Educators and is essential to the daily operations and planning necessary for the organization to run efficiently. The Operations Coordinator should be organized, collaborative, and goal-focused with a strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Critical to this role is the ability to leverage technology and create internal systems to organize numerous projects and responsibilities and ensure deadlines are met. Strong writing and communication skills are also essential. The Operations Coordinator will assume the following responsibilities: Administrative Support to the Senior Leadership Team · Coordinates on- and off-site meetings for the Senior Leadership Team · Schedules appointments, conference calls and videoconferences · Tracks communications with contacts across the country · Prepares and reconciles expenses · Coordinates travel and reimbursements · Assists in the preparation and planning of materials for meetings and special events · Drafts internal and external communications · Performs traditional, day to day, office management responsibilities · Performs routine administrative duties as needed Project Coordination/Special Projects · Provides administrative support to special projects and events in conjunction with national and regional team members as needed · Conducts research on key issues identified by the leadership team as needed · Produces written materials as needed to support special projects · Other responsibilities as needed |

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: | · Outstanding problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously · Strong Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) · Strong oral and written communication skills · Focus on details · Excellent organizational and people skills · Ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations · Ability to anticipate and take initiative to work independently or collaboratively as needed · Ability to work under ambitious timelines in a start-up, entrepreneurial environment · Experience with Salesforce a plus · Experience with Adobe Design Suite a plus |
