The Pre-K at Powell Bilingual Elementary School is looking for a Pre-Kindergarten teacher of three- and four-year-olds in a dual language classroom. The position is for the 2015-2016 school year (Spanish-speaking ability preferred but not required):
Pre-K at Powell is a child-centered, play-based pre-kindergarten program in DC Public Schools focused on supporting the development of the whole child with the support of families and the community. Every classroom uses the Tools of the Mind curriculum with a focus on child-initiated projects and inquiry. We are a tight-knit, collaborative staff and are currently working towards NAEYC accreditation.
