Love creative writing but have yet to found an outlet that is affordable and accessible to hone your craft in DC? a friend and I (both creative writing/English majors in college) have delve headfirst into a busy DC life and found it difficult to find time and motivation to write, despite our love of doing so. Thus, we have decided to a form a writing group open to all genre writers that creates a safe space and motivation to keep writing.
If interested in this bi-monthly meeting, please email ilanaostrin@gmail.com. Group members will be expected to share their work and collaborate with the group to create group guidelines and expectations. Members will meet in accessible DC area locations. Again, all genre styles welcome and experienced writers encouraged to join. please forward this message to any person interested -- all genders welcome. Hoping to make this a consistent meeting group and are hoping many of you will be interested in attending regularly!
