Job Description
The MBA Intern will join our highly energetic and committed consulting team to provide coaching, consulting services, research and analysis, and/or capacity building to a focused selection of nonprofit and foundation clients, gaining exposure to innovative approaches used to enhance the sustainability of social sector organizations
Responsibilities
- Providing customized, business-focused consulting and strategy development assistance to nonprofits and/or foundations.
- Developing client presentations and business plans.
- Conducting market research and making tactical recommendations.
- Providing hands-on and strategic support to Community Wealth Partners' internal strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Must hold an MBA (or equivalent degree) or be currently enrolled in an MBA program.
- 3 to 5 years of business consulting or comparable experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and articulating logical solutions to business challenges.
- Professional experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct efficient and thorough market research required.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively, both verbal and written.
- Able to remain professional & flexible while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to address problems with positivity, creativity and a solution orientation.
- Able to thrive in and contribute to a collegial and collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated sense of responsibility and ownership over work.
- Ideal candidates will be optimistic, energetic and passionate for social change.

Job Description
Undergraduate Interns have the opportunity to observe and play a supporting role in Community Wealth Partners' work, providing research and analysis to serve nonprofit and foundation clients. Interns work alongside Community Wealth Partners' highly energetic and committed team of management and consulting staff to gain exposure to innovative approaches used to enhance the sustainability of social sector organizations.
Responsibilities
- Conducting market research as part of client project teams.
- Researching and gathering resources for clients.
- Providing hands-on & strategic support to social media programs, web traffic-drivers & analytic tools.
- Providing administrative support for client projects and internal firm initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Experience/Education
- Must be currently enrolled at a university and have completed at least junior year.
- Preference for individuals who have completed coursework in business, marketing, communications or a related field.
- Prior professional office experience required.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint required.
Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstrated research skills required.
- Specific skills in social media marketing a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively, both verbal and written.
- Able to remain professional & flexible while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to address problems with positivity, creativity and a solution orientation.
- Able to thrive in and contribute to a collegial and collaborative environment.

Additional Information
Compensation
Modest funds are available to help cover local transportation costs and other expenses related to the internship. Applicants are encouraged to seek additional funds which may be available through their academic or career services offices.
