I saw an article in the Washington Post about the Va govt trying to reestablish a state song. In my opinion, the best option (which they are apparently not considering) is the Carter Family song Longing for Old Virginia. If you have any advice or recommendation for the Virginia State song, please contact your representative and/or governor:
