[dcab-l] DC Bluegrass Festival - Ticket Prices and Hotel rooms

I wanted to make sure everyone understands the ticket structure and purchase procedure for the upcoming 5^th DC Bluegrass Festival to be held at the beautiful Sheraton Premiere Hotel at Tysons Corner, Virginia on February 27-28, 2015.  More details can be found at www.dcbluegrassfest.org and www.dcbu.org. 

 

TICKETS:  We are offering ticket prices for members and non-members of DCBU.  Also, tickets are available for Friday only, Saturday only or both days (with a savings).  The schedule is as follows:

 

YOUTH (16 and under) full festival            $15.00

DCBU Members-Friday Only*    $35.00

DCBU Members-Saturday Only $60.00

Non-Members-Friday Only         $40.00

Non-Members-Saturday Only    $65.00

DCBU Members-Full Festival*    $85.00

Non-Members-Full Festival*      $95.00

* Covers both Friday and Saturday (full festival)

 

HOTEL ROOMS:  We have a special rate of $89 per night (plus taxes) for Friday and Saturday nights.  This rate is guaranteed only through February 13 so you will need to book soon to ensure the rate.  ).  The hotel is conveniently located right off the Beltway and easily accessible by Metro (Silver Line/Spring Hill station).  For ticketing information please go to www.dcbluegrassfest.org.  If you prefer to purchase your tickets directly from DCBU, you may do so at the event (if we still have tickets) or in advance by mail.  The schedule and ticket prices are shown below.  If you choose to buy your tickets directly from DCBU, please send your check (payable to DCBU) to DCBU/Regina Derzon, 1429 Martha Custis Drive, Alexandria, VA 22302.  PLEASE be sure to include your email so I can confirm your tickets.  Your name will be on the “prepaid tickets/will-call” list at the festival.  Make a special occasion of the event and plan to stay at the hotel.  We have a special nightly rate of $89 plus tax that is guaranteed through February 13.  Be sure to book your room by February 13 (call 888-627-8230) and use the code “Bluegrass Festival 2015.”  There will be lots of late night picking, so bring your voice and your instrument!  We will also have a courtesy instrument check available.  I look forward to seeing everyone in a few short weeks.  Thank you for supporting bluegrass music in the greater Washington, DC area.
