[YEP-DC] Help Us Fill Those Bookshelves! Apply for a Team First Book-DC Book Grant Today!

Dear Educators,

 

If you're a classroom teacher and/or lead an organization serving kids in the DC area in need of books, apply for a Team First Book-DC book grant today! 

 

The Team First Book-DC raises funds to provide eligible classrooms, school libraries, and programs with high-quality, brand-new books to the students they serve, and we are currently accepting applications for our Spring 2015 grant cycle. After receiving a grant, educators can select books from the First Book National Marketplace and create lesson plans and classroom activities using these books. If not intended for a school or classroom library, these books are then given to the kids to take home and keep.

 

If you work at a school or organization that predominantly serves students from low-income families and/or works primarily with children from military families or those with disabilities, please click here for an application or share this link with other organizations and/or classroom teachers that you think might be interested.

Applications will be accepted until 11:59pm on Monday, March 9, 2015.
