Join the Koshland Science Museum for a free event on Saturday, February 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Learn how individuals and communities can better prepare and plan for, absorb, respond to, recover from, and adapt to adverse events:
· Give feedback on projects that teams from DC EnvironMentors are developing to steward local natural resources.
· Learn how The Nature Conservancy is creating coastal resilience through oyster reef restoration projects along the East Coast.
· Prepare for extreme events with resources from NOAA-National Weather Service and America's PrepareAthon!
· Play the card came “Cycles” to understand how ecosystems are naturally resilient.
