WHY VOLUNTEER?
We value family and community engagement in school activities and believe that volunteer involvement can have a positive impact on a child’s education. At a time when funding can be scarce, volunteers are needed more than ever, especially with tutoring and mentoring. In just a few hours a week, school volunteers have tremendous power to make a different in individual students’ lives and in the overall progress of a classroom. Volunteers positively impact self-esteem, attitudes, social growth, and communication skills in students. Through school led volunteer programs, adults with a wide variety of backgrounds and skill sets are able to provide the kind of personalized attention that students need to succeed. Volunteer opportunities at Paul will provide flexible ways for volunteers to commit as much time as they have available.

"Never take someone for granted. Hold every person close to your heart
because you might wake up one day and realize that you've lost a diamond,
while you were too busy collecting stones..."
"The Ability to accept delay or disappointment. To smile at setbacks and
respond with a pleasant, understanding spirit. To remain calm while others
around are uneasy. This is Godly patience. Never think that God's Delays
are God's Denials. Hold on; Hold fast; Hold out. Patience is genius."
