Since 1973, he has performed with his wife, Martha Hearon Adcock, a singer/songwriter and guitarist, as a duo and with various band configurations, including a stint with "outlaw country" pioneer, David Allan Coe. Mr. Adcock is a member of the International Bluegrass Music Association's Hall of Honor and the Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame, and has won many other awards in his long career.
