POSITION PURPOSE and DESCRIPTION
This full-time temporary position (February – September, including Saturdays) is responsible for recruiting participants for Higher Achievement's programs.  The Recruiter position determinedly recruits scholars and families to enrol as participants, and mentors to volunteer in its after-school and summer programming.  This role is critical in filling key slots for both scholars and mentors in HA's programs.

Additionally, the Recruiter shall be responsible for recruiting mentors to support engaged scholars' academic efforts.  The Recruiters shall present the program and its merit to prospective mentors through presentations, meetings and corporate and community events.  These presentations take place at community organizations, high schools and colleges as well as local businesses and corporations.

The Recruiter shall report to the Manager of School Placement and Scholar Enrollment (MSPSE).  The MSPSE will evaluate the Recruiter's work in terms of effort and effectiveness in progress towards achieving results (participants engaged) as well as qualitative feedback and input from schools, scholars, families and mentors.
