Join the ARTWORKS team and special guest Sean Justice for an innovative workshop on coding. In this introductory workshop we will use free Scratch software to bring coding to your classroom. Designed at MIT, Scratch is a visual and fun introduction to coding that allows students create interactive stories, games and animations.
Leading the workshop will be Sean Justice, EdDCT candidate in Art and Art Education at Teachers College Columbia University and former adjunct professor at both Parsons School of Design and N.Y.U. He has over 20 years of experience in teaching art, photography and technology.
Technical Skill Focus: Scratch, storytelling.
