CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES:
- Location: Bruce-Monroe Elementary School, 3560 Warder St NW
- Times: Tutors work 3:15 - 6:00pm Three to Five Days per week
- Grades: 1 - 5
- Subjects: Math, ELA and Character Building
- Date: Mid or Late February through late June
- Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour based on credentials and teaching/tutoring experience. Tutors are paid for prep time and planning meetings.

- Resume. Your resume needs to be tailored to a tutoring position and should focus on TUTORING and or TEACHING experience.
- Two references. Send valid email addresses for your references and they should be able to comment on your ability to tutor and/or teach.
- Indicate which subjects you can tutor, days and times of availability, and which school(s) you can tutor.
- Indicate whether you have the results of a TB test within the last six months and a clearance through FBI fingerprinting. You will need to have the results of the TB test prior to the in-person interview.
- A short writing sample. Please respond to only ONE scenario below: a or b. Describe (in 200 words or less) how you would help (a) a student learn their addition facts while the student won't sit still or (b) a very quiet student with low reading confidence improve their reading comprehension
