PURPOSE:
-
To provide a mechanism for establishment and oversight of the Young Education Professionals-DC (YEP-DC) Google Group (the "listserv") through which the YEP-DC members can post messages related to the YEP-DC Mission.
-
POLICY:
All YEP-DC members are permitted to join the listserv, if they choose. Participating members must agree to follow listserv rules and guidelines.
All messages will be automatically directed to the Moderator before posting.
The listserv Moderator will be a member of the YEP-DC Executive Board and will be the main listserv contract.
The listserv will be fully accountable to the YEP-DC Executive Board of Directors.
-
PROCEDURE:
A. General Posting
Members will be given instructions on how to sign up on the listserv or if they choose they will be directly added onto the listserv. The general process for posting to the listserv is:
-
Members should send a message to youngedprofessionals@googlegroups.com.
The subject line should be in the format of "TypeofPosting: Subject Line". For instance, a job posting will be in the format "Job Posting: Job at Local Non-profit"
The message will be conveyed to a moderator's queue to determine whether the message is relevant for that list.
Once reviewed and accepted, the message will be sent to all listserv.
Please allow up to three works day for the messages to appear on this list. Excluded messages will be returned to the sender with a brief explanation for that exclusion.
