[YEP-DC] Opportunity for Teachers: Common Core Conference on Saturday, May 11th - RSVP today!

Cutting to the Core

Teach Plus DC is excited to invite you to attend a unique professional development opportunity—a conference led by teachers, for teachers to prepare you to effectively implement Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Session topics will include: Changes with Common Core in the Secondary Math Classroom, Close Reading & Common Core, PARCC Overview, PARCC and Accommodations for ELL and Special Education Students, and many others geared toward different grade levels. This event will bring together hundreds of teachers from across the city to learn from session facilitators and other attendees, share curricula and best practices, and network with each other. Conference attendees will be eligible to earn 5 Professional Learning Units.  Register by COB on Monday, May 6th to be entered to win one of two $50 Donors Choose gift cards!
