Exploring Teacher Leadership in DC

If any or all of the above apply to you, then join Kaya Henderson, Teach Plus, and other teacher leaders on Thursday, March 14, 2013, to hear from current teacher leaders and various organizations about the leadership opportunities you can take advantage of while remaining in the classroom. This unique event will focus on teacher leadership opportunities for both district and charter teachers.

 

The event will start with a panel of DC teachers sharing their experiences as leaders in various roles and will be moderated by Kaya Henderson, DCPS Chancellor. Following the panel, you will have the chance to explore more than 20 different leadership opportunities available only to current teachers while networking with your colleagues.  Don't miss out - RSVP today!

Eastern High School is a 5 minute walk from the Stadium Armory Metro Station (blue/orange lines).  There is also street parking nearby.

Registration: 4:45-5:30pm
Panel: 5:30-6:30pm

Leadership Fair and Networking: 6:30-7:30pm
