Our high quality preschool is seeking a Director who will embrace the school's mission and provide leadership to the staff and teachers. We are looking for a long-term commitment – someone to join the family of staff members and serve as an inspirational leader. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, budgeting and administrative skills, and have a good understanding of age appropriate activities for young children.
The Director is the leader of our school, who, through strategic thinking, direction, and mentoring, effectively articulates and supervises the implementation of the vision for these programs. Individual classroom curriculum is developed by our highly skilled and dedicated teachers so the Director's main priority will be to manage the administration of the school, budgeting and finances, manage all staffing, enrollment recruitment, vendor contracting, and licensing compliance.
Ideal candidate will have BA or BS in administration with 3 years of experience in an educational institution, preferably a preschool or early childhood setting.
Salary commensurate with experience.
