[YEP-DC] Summer cohort opportunity! - Urban Education Leaders Internship Program at DC Public Schools

Urban Education Leaders Internship Program

District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) is now accepting applications for the Summer 2013 Urban Education Leaders Internship Program (UELIP)!  The UELIP program provides individuals who are committed to education reform with the opportunity to participate in mission-critical education projects and support DCPS' mission to be the first urban school district to close the achievement gap.  It also provides educators with first-hand experience in district-level setting.

 UELIPs come from all over the country to work at DCPS and make a tangible impact on the lives of our students.  UELIP Associates also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of cohort activities designed to develop them professionally and expand their professional networks.

 Here are the important dates for the Summer cohort: 

                    ·  Summer 2013 Program Dates:  June 10, 2013 - August 16, 2013

o    Application deadline: April 30^th, 2013
