We hope you can join us! Last spring, AppleTree hosted DC LINKs (Leaders Investing in Our Nation's Kids), a series of four workshops that sought to build a "community of practice" around high-quality evidence-based early education instruction in DC. Over 150 instructional leaders, practitioners, policy and thought leaders attended the series, which stimulated many partnerships within the early education field and introduced participants to Every Child Ready, AppleTree's comprehensive preschool instructional model. This year, DC LINKs is back – in webinar form! AppleTree will be hosting three interactive webinars for early childhood educators and conversation leaders. The webinars will inform, educate, and train participants on how to increase the quality of teaching and learning for three- and four-year old children. Tools for Increasing Instructional Effectiveness Tuesday, March 26 from 3:30-4:30 PM EST DC LINKs Webinar Part 1 Defining excellent teaching is a challenge for educators and school leaders. It is especially difficult in early childhood classrooms where teachers support children's social-emotional development in addition to helping them academically. AppleTree's Every Child Ready model has defined the classroom structures and instructional strategies that research has identified as important for children's later learning. Participants in this webinar will understand Every Child Ready'savailable resources and tools to increase instructional effectiveness. |
