[dcab-l] Bluegrass Workshop on Dec. 8th (Saturday) - Manassas

Reminding you of the Bluegrass Music Workshop on Saturday, Dec. 8, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Please pass the word to friends and students. (Or, for that matter, to your enemies too.)

This is a basic workshop to help participants to gain an understanding of Bluegrass Music and how to play it.  Bring your instruments (guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin, dobro, fiddle) for "hands on" experience with guidance from coaches Mike Thomas, Danny Felton, John Burton, Donna Gair and Bruce Gair.

We will use actual playing to understand the structure and presentation of Bluegrass Music as well as hear examples, learn some background, and have a great time.

This is a community service provided by NOVA Music Center and the Bull Run Bluegrass Music Association. Materials charge is $5 for kids and $10 for adults.

Where: NOVA Music Center, 8963 Center St., Manassas, VA (at the east end of Olde Town Manassas).
