[YEP-DC] Job Posting: Executive Director of Capitol Hill Preschool

A well-established Capitol Hill preschool seeks a charismatic, organized, people person to fill the Executive Director position. The right candidate will have a (1) Master's Degree (preferred), or a Bachelors with coursework towards a Masters in early childhood education / related field and experience in the field; (2) credentials to meet DC licensing requirements; (3) personnel, operational and facilities management experience which includes the ability to effectively manage a budget, maximize revenues and facility space, and offer strong positive support for students and development of teachers; (4) productive communications skills to develop a strong rapport with teachers, parents, students and community; (5) curriculum development drawing from a deep knowledge of early childhood education theory, human development practices and interpersonal skills.

 

The preschool is a parent led-organization with an active parent run board of directors that offers high quality early education focused on strong development of both its teachers and its students.
