Hi All!

On Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in Washington, DC, Citizen Schools and Higher Achievement are partnering with leaders from across the expanded learning field to host the day-long Meet in the Middle: Expanded Learning Summit.

If you can't make the Summit in-person, please tune in at 9 AM on April 21st to watch the event virtually via the live stream (click here) and live tweet during the event using the hashtag #ExpandLearning2015.

You'll hear the following speakers (and several more from across the country) discuss the importance of expanded learning, especially during the critical middle school year:

  • Mayor Muriel Bowser, Mayor of the District of Columbia
  • Congressman Mike Honda, US Representative, 17th District, California
  • Wendy Spencer, CEO of the Corporation for National & Community Service

We look forward to engaging with you in this important dialogue!
