The DC Trust is seeking individuals to review funding proposals for FY15 Traditional Summer Programming initiative. This is an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues in the fields of youth development and out-of-school time, to learn more about the grant-making process, to develop grant-writing skills, to learn about exciting initiatives happening in throughout DC, and to contribute knowledge and experience in helping the DC Trust select high-quality summer programs throughout the District of Columbia. Reviewers evaluate an average of 6-8 proposal applications and then convene with fellow reviewers and a DC Trust facilitator for an in-person debrief session to discuss findings. Reviewers must commit to one reviewer training session (1.5 hours) scheduled from April 20-24, 2015 and to one debrief session (2 hours) scheduled from May 11-15, 2015 (times will depend on reviewer availability and consensus). Reviewers will receive a $50.00 American Express Gift Card for full participation. To apply to be a reviewer, applicants may submit resumes to ksmith@dctrust.org by April 15, 2015.
