[YEP-DC] YEP-DC's Recess is looking for more bloggers!

YEP-DC's Recess blog is looking for additional bloggers to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your writing experience and gain published clips. We are looking to fill the following positions:

1. A commentary blogger: This candidate must have writing experience, preferably with opinion pieces or blog posts, and s/he can choose topics or ideas to write about.

2. A DC news and events blogger: This candidate will be expected to cover YEP-DC events, like panels or speakers, as well as events or issues in the DC education space. Ability to identify newsworthy topics is a must.

3. A Q&A blogger: This candidate will interview a local education expert each month. S/he is expected to identify participants, craft questions, and execute the interview. 

These are volunteer positions with a minimum six-month commitment, and bloggers are expected to submit one post per month. Bloggers receive support and editing from experienced editors, and YEP-DC's communications team works to promote each post via our social media channels and other media outreach.
