AnLar seeks a smart, highly motivated, and passionate program analyst to support a broad range of education policy and management projects for clients in Federal and State governments as well as the private and non-profit sectors. We are looking to add a versatile, independent, disciplined problem-solver to our rapidly growing team of people doing influential work. This position will provide support to national policy initiatives including the development and management of technical assistance for clients with wide audiences and high-visibility efforts.
Responsibilities:
● Strategy Development: Work with clients to review their organizational objectives and resources to develop policy and technical assistance support strategies.
● Technical Assistance Project Support: Coordinate with clients and content experts to identify, develop and communicate specific opportunities for technical assistance support.
● Project Scope Development: Write and review project scoping documents for technical assistance supports to ensure deliverables are identified and project activities are defined.
● Project Management: Track project progress during implementation; monitoring project timelines and coordinating with clients and content experts.
● Quality Control Review: Review deliverables, products, and plans created to ensure high-quality development and delivery to the client.
● Client Team Support: Support the client directly during calls and meetings, identifying key areas of support and follow up as needed.
● Other responsibilities/activities: Collaborate with and review work of colleagues to generate ideas and ensure development of high-quality delivery of their work.
Who You Are:
● Disciplined project manager, able to stay organized and juggle multiple tasks while serving clients with differing priorities and perspectives
● Effective in collaborative environment, but also productive when working independently
● Driven by a strong work ethic and integrity
● Able to communicate ideas clearly and effectively
● Understand the client relationship, driven to figure out what the client needs (not just what they want) and exceed expectations
● Professional and in possession of a great sense of humor (preferred but not required)
● Confident to take a leadership role, but modest and restrained enough to focus on what the client needs/wants
● Coachable and able to take constructive feedback
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in education, public policy, psychology, sociology, or related field is required, plus three or more years of experience in the field is strongly preferred
● Previous project management experience required
● Previous education, government, or management consulting experience a plus
● Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) required
● Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
