The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at The George Washington University is exited to host our annual Your GW Open Houses -- Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion for high school seniors. This overnight visit program allows students to see firsthand how we put knowledge into action at GW in the heart of Washington, D.C., and to learn about the diversity and cultural opportunities within our Colonial community.
2014 Your GW Open Houses
October 23-24 and November 13-14
At the open house students will:
- Spend the night on campus with a current GW student
- Engage with a faculty member during a live college class
- Learn firsthand about the GW student experience
- Hear from recent alumni about the benefits of a GW education
- Interview with an admissions representative
Your GW is open to multicultural high school students from across the country. Realizing that transportation costs may prohibit students from visiting our campus, GW provides travel grants to well-deserving students interested in attending the event. Additional information on the travel grant process is available on the registration page.
For questions about GW admissions events, please contact Catherine Lovett, Senior Assistant Director, at catherinelovett@gwu.edu.
