See, Touch and Learn About Free Cisterns for Eligible DC Residents
Tomorrow Saturday, September 14, at Wangari Gardens, Park Pl. and Irving St., NW in Ward 1, come see, touch, and ask questions about the free cisterns being offered to eligible DC residents/properties located in a specific sewershed that drains stormwater to the Bloomingdale/Ledroit park neighborhoods. A DDOE rep will assist you from 10 am -2 pm. To find out if you are eligible, visit ddoe.dc.gov/service/bloomingdale-sewershed-rain-barrel-cistern-program and click the link.
On Sunday, September 22, from 8:30-1pm, DDOE staff will be at the Bloomingdale Farmers Market at First St. and Florida St. NW. The cisterns will also be on site and interested residents can sign up for stormwater audits. The Bloomingdale Rain Barrel/Cistern Program is being funded by DC Water and administered by DDOE."
