[YEP-DC] Fwd: Uplift Young Girls in the DC Area

Good Afternoon,

Below is an invitation I am circulating on behalf of the High Tea Society, an organization I volunteer with. If you would like to learn more about the organization you can visit the website http://www.highteasociety.org/

To attend the event below please rsvp with the email address provided in the flyer or here https://girlsconnectedreportout.eventbrite.com/. Thanks!

Greetings:
I have taken the time today to ask for divine guidance as to what I can say in my appeal to others and to you in particular to help our girls.  I sincerely believe that you just like me, are daily concerned about the plight of our girls, often shaking our heads thinking that there must be something that I can do to help to direct our girls into positive outcomes.  Your response will be personal.  It is your time, your interest, your commitment and your service that the High Tea Society-Girls Connected would love to have to help guide our girls to positive paths of services, supports and opportunities.  Alone the task is overwhelming, but as a group of likeminded people we can form a network so powerful that we can bring about positive behavior changes in our girls.
Our girls are treasures waiting to be discovered.  They need our exploratory talents to help them discover the precious jewels embedded in each of them. I thank you for reading this message.  By doing so, I am hopeful an interest has been sparked and you will join us on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 11-1 at George Washington University Law School, Stuart 101, as we come together to begin to connect with our girls.  See you on October 5th!
