Flamboyan is hiring! As part of our strategic growth plan, Flamboyan is staffing-up to enable us to scale our impact in Washington, D.C. and reach 50% of D.C. students through effective family engagement strategies over the next five years. To meet this goal, we are looking for diverse, talented people who are deeply committed to using family engagement as a tool to accelerate student learning and success and who share our core values of people, impact, critical thinking, and catalytic action. We are seeking to fill the following positions:
- Senior Director of School Partnerships to manage Flamboyan's team of School Partnerships Coaches and guide us in determining how to best implement our partnership approach, including building the capacity of local districts and CMOs to support this work. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in coaching senior staff or leaders, ideally in an education setting, and is passionate about developing a team of coaches. S/he is equally effective and motivating others to achieve and improve and at collaboratively charting a strategic path forward when faced with complex questions related to program implementation and sustainability.
- We are looking for a Program Manager to help advance our work to support educators and school leaders to engage families. The ideal candidate brings experience in teaching (middle and high school a plus) as well as excellent project management, training and meeting facilitation, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- We are seeking a Program Assistant to support our communications work and the day to day operations of our Partnerships and Innovation team. The ideal candidate has excellent written communication skills, a track record of multi-tasking effectively, and finds satisfaction in delivering, organizing, and following-through on details.
