Job Description

PCG EducationTM is currently seeking an Operations Analyst I to join the team in the Washington, DC office. This critical thinker with intense intellectual curiosity should have a love of data and a fascination with how data can be used to improve the education of students. You will collaborate with consulting and operations staff to improve reporting systems and create software solutions for products supporting Special Education programs. You will support multiple projects with competing priorities and have ownership over your development pieces - starting from creating or amending software specifications, communicating with developers, creating and managing a testing plan for the team and following through to delivery. This is a junior-level role with opportunity for advancement. The ideal candidate for this position will be flexible, reliable and enthusiastic.

 

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior full service team and help desk support
  • Assist users in submitting electronic and survey data
  • Analyze quarterly survey responses, determining billing codes and compliance
  • Manipulate data into a usable format, and perform basic analytics using high-level experience with databases (Excel)
  • Communicate with software developers to improve existing functionality, update software specifications and resolve issues
  • Update product manuals and training documents when needed

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to search for a solution to a need, not just follow a request
  • Reliability in accomplishing tasks within expected timeframes while ensuring end-to-end accuracy and quality
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent support that is prompt and accurate
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and respect for clients as well as internal PCG stakeholders, especially when balancing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to quickly learn and manage new technology applications and/or software
  • Proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; Access experience preferred

 

Required Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in supporting clients with technology implementation solutions preferred
  • Overtime and travel (approximately 10-15%) are required
