Placement Coordinator Description

As a Placement Coordinator at Educational Connections Tutoring, you will fast track your career while making the difference in the lives of thousands of children. No experience in education? No problem, we'll teach you!
We're looking for someone who:
- Is an A-player. You are driven to be the best. You challenge yourself by setting goals, crushing them, and helping your teammates do the same.
- Works efficiently. You're a master multi-tasker. You can talk, type, walk, and chew gum all at the same time. Juggling multiple projects at once inspires you rather than causing stress.
- Is Solution-oriented. You see obstacles as opportunities. You are naturally someone who takes initiative and aren't afraid to speak up and present new ideas and bold solutions.
- Likes working with people. You genuinely like people and want to help make their lives better.
What you'll do all day:
- Talk to parents over the phone. To be successful in this role, you need to enjoy working with people, especially parents who are often experiencing anxiety about their child's academic progress.
- Match students with tutors. You must have a warm personality and a strong organization skill set that allows you to place students with the perfect tutor in an efficient manner. It's imperative that you're fanatical about follow up and you love to see things to fruition.
- Communicate family's needs accurately. It's essential that you are able to understand what exactly the family is looking for and communicate that with the tutor whom you select for the family. Details and a love for organization must be inherent in your personality in order to coordinate the student's needs with the tutor.
- Grow new clients by building relationships. We have an excellent reputation in the education community and want to keep it that way. You'll help build relationships with parents, tutors, schools, and professionals in the area so they will refer new students to us.

Absolute requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-8 years of experience
- A solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook\
