Bilingual Special Education and Inclusion Teachers
This team works in collaboration with lead classroom teachers to plan and support students with Individual Education Plans (IEP). The special education teachers will manage a caseload of students for a certain grade and for the most part will be working inside the classroom. Often, there is a need of being flexible due to the constant changes in caseloads. The special education teacher will also work with rest of the Inclusion team to best support students.
Part-Time After School Lead Teachers and Associates - Spanish Language (PK-4th)
Mundo Verde offers an in-house extended day program. All staff who run the program are employed through Mundo Verde. The program consists of a robust offering of enrichment specials, outdoor play, and curriculum developed by the after school team. Class sizes range from 16-24 students. Grades with lower after school enrollment may share an associate between two classes. Staff are provided professional development weekly and for 1-2 weeks during a summer institute. After school members may be called upon to support the daytime program when staff are out.
