Options Public Charter School ("Options PCS"), an open enrollment public charter school in Northeast D.C. serving students in grades 6 through 12, is currently accepting applications for teaching positions for the 2014-15 school year.
Options PCS was founded in 1996 with the mission of providing a high quality, unique educational experience for all students, including those students most at risk of dropping out because they need additional social and academic support or have exceptionalities requiring intensive special education services.
In Fall 2014, Options PCS will re-open under the leadership of a new management team that is committed to maintaining rigor and accountability in school operations, while also providing rich support services and targeted academic interventions for all students. In 2014-2015 Options PCS will serve a smaller student population of approximately 250 students to ensure that all students receive the services and support they require in a nurturing and engaging environment.
